• Women's Independence Scholarship Program (W.I.S.P.) Change Your World Scholarship is sponsored by the Sunshine Lady Foundation and intended for the children of the graduates of W.I.S.P. The foundation believes that every student should have the opportunity to pursue a college degree, especially those who are very much capable, motivated, and hardworking.
• Pell Grant is a federal government funded grant intended for students, men or women, and mothers especially single moms who are in dire need of financial assistance to be able to pursue an education.
• Raise The Nation, a non-profit organization, extends financial aid to single moms through their scholarships for moms program in which, the financial assistance offered is extended to the children. Single moms of other ethnicity are also welcome to apply for the scholarship.
• Sister to Sister Scholarship program is designed to cater to the educational needs of African American women who are mothers, specifically single moms.
